The gift of sleep

Who Am I, And How Can I Help Your Family?

My name is Stephanie Asmus. I have an 18month old toddler (Luca), who I have to thank for guiding me to become a Sleep Sense Consultant. Without his sleep problems, I would not be able to give YOU and your family- The Gift Of Sleep.

When Luca was 7months old, he was waking up every 3 hours during the night. It would take me about an hour to get him back to sleep, only to repeat the whole “routine” a couple of hours later!

Exhausted, I looked everywhere for some real-life, practical solutions to my son’s sleep problems. Friends and family, doctors and nurses... They all offered sympathy and advice, but nobody would actually tell me how to solve the problem!

I then came across the “The Sleep Sense Program”. The Program did not only give me a happier and well-rested child. Luca was sleeping 11/12 hours straight at night and took two solid naps during the day, which lasted 90min -2 hours. As a result, we as a couple were also well-rested and had the evenings to ourselves for some deserved quality time.

My son’s transformation had such an impact on me that I eventually made the decision to dedicate my professional life to helping families like yours in Namibia and Internationally.

After Dana Obleman herself chose me, I finally flew to Florida, where I met with her. Dana Obleman is the best-selling author and creator of “The Sleep Sense Program,” who has helped more than 30,000 families to solve their child’s sleep problem.

After completing a comprehensive training program with Dana, I’ve been licensed as the only Sleep Sense™ consultant within Namibia. My goal is to help parents like you, quickly and easily solve your child’s sleep problems.

"Will This Work For My Child?"

The reason the methods I teach work so well is, that they are customized for YOUR family!

We all know that every child is different, so it only makes sense that what worked for one baby might not necessarily be the best solution for yours. (For example, some children will settle more easily when a parent is in their room with them... and another child might not be able to fall asleep at all until they are left alone.)

That’s why I work closely with you to make sure that the plan we develop for your child fits for your family. That means not only do we take into account your child’s personality, we also come up with a plan that fits your parenting style. This is extremely important, because – as a parent – you simply aren’t going to be committed to a plan that you don’t feel comfortable with. Makes sense, right?
